Accessible web site test |
|
So you want an accessible web site but you dont know how much to pay and how badly your site fails. Well you have come to the right place.
Below is an explanation of the three standards to meet, depending on the level of web accessibility required.
Guidelines have been established by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and adopted as authoritative in European and UK legislation. There are three levels of priority:
Priority 1
A Web page must satisfy this priority level, or one or more groups will find it impossible to access the information.
Priority 2
If a web page does not achieve this level, one or more groups will find it difficult to access the information.
Priority 3
Achieving this level will improve access to the content.
